HITC Sport understands Luton have made a bid for Lincoln star.

Luton Town have launched a bid for midfielder Alex Woodyard from League Two rivals Lincoln City, HITC Sport understands.
Woodyard, who won National League Player of the Year last term, has caught the eye again this season for Lincoln having shone for the Imps last season
The all-action midfielder 52 appearances last season as Lincoln won promotion to League Two and reached the FA Cup quarter-finals last season.
Woodyard has maintained that outstanding form this term and has been an ever-present for them in League Two, chipping in with two goals and three assists in 28 games.

The 25-year-old’s consistent displays have brought him to the attention of several clubs higher up the football pyramid, but Luton are hoping to lure the midfield dynamo to Kenilworth Road.
Luton boss Nathan Jones is understood to be a big fan of Woodyard and sees him as a vital addition to his squad as they look to secure promotion to League One.
Lincoln are reluctant to lose Woodyard during this month’s transfer window, but it is understood the former Charlton youngster has a release clause in his contract allowing him to talk to other clubs if they meet a certain fee.
