HITC Sport understands Liverpool winger set to finalise Barnsley loan switch.

Liverpool youngster Ryan Kent is expected to seal a loan move to Barnsley in the next 24 hours, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.
Kent has featured heavily in Liverpool’s pre-season to date playing in their first four friendlies, but he has not travelled with the squad for their tour of America.
The 19-year-old enjoyed a loan spell at Coventry City last season and Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp feels the skilful wide-man will benefit from going out on loan again next season.

Kent made 19 appearances for Coventry last season, scoring one goal before being recalled by Liverpool last January.
Kent, who has come through the youth ranks at Anfield, made his first-team debut last season in the FA Cup against Exeter.
A number of clubs have expressed an interest in taking Kent on loan, but Championship new boys Barnsley have been at the front of the queue for his signature.

Barnsley boss Paul Heckingbottom has previously admitted his interest in Kent and talks are understood to be at an advanced stage between both clubs which will see the youngster spend next season on loan at Oakwell.
