HITC Sport understands Bournemouth are expected to finalise the move for Liverpool defender in next 24 hours.

Liverpool defender Brad Smith is undergoing a medical at Bournemouth ahead of his move to the Vitality Stadium, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.
Bournemouth agreed a fee with Liverpool for Australian international Smith last weekend and the player was given permission to leave the Reds’ tour of America to hold talks with the Cherries.
Personal terms have been agreed between both parties and all that stands between the move is a successful medical for the left-back.

Smith almost left Liverpool last summer when his contract expired before he signed a new deal soon after the arrival of Jurgen Klopp back in October.

The 22-year-old made 11 appearances under Klopp last season playing a back-up role to Alberto Moreno.
Klopp is happy to let Smith move on as he is in the market for a new left-back, but Liverpool have included a buy-back clause in the deal which they can trigger in the next two seasons.

Smith, who came through the ranks of Liverpool from the age of 14, is keen on the move to Bournemouth so that he can be playing regular first-team football to safeguard his place in the Australia side.
