HITC Sport understands Leicester City have bid for Hull defender Maguire.

Leicester City have tabled a bid for in-demand Hull City defender Harry Maguire as they look to beat several Premier League rivals to his signature, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.
The likes of Tottenham and Everton have been credited with an interest in Maguire, but now Leicester are hoping to lure the 24-year-old to the King Power Stadium.
Hull are resigned to losing Maguire this summer following their relegation from the Premier League last season with the player entering the final year of his contract at the KCOM Stadium.

Maguire was one of Hull’s shining lights last season despite their relegation and his form brought him to the attention of the England coaching team ahead of a possible call-up.
The versatile defender made 36 appearances in all competitions for Hull last season, scoring three times and also captaining the side on several occasions.
Leicester have made the first move for Maguire and are waiting to see if Hull will accept their offer for the former Sheffield United youngster.
Leicester boss Craig Shakespeare has made a new central defender one of his top targets this summer as he looks to rebuild the squad at the King Power after being handed the job on a permanent basis last week.
