HITC Sport understands Leicester have agreed a deal for Freiburg defender Caglar Soyuncu.

Leicester have agreed a deal for Freiburg defender Caglar Soyuncu with the Turkish international due to undergo a medical later today, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.
Leicester have lined up a deal for Soyuncu as they look to bolster their defensive options before the close of the transfer window on Thursday.
Foxes boss Claude Puel is in the market for defensive reinforcements after seeing Aleksandar Dragovic return to Bayer Leverkusen following his loan spell and Robert Huth leave upon his contract expiring.
Soyuncu is highly-regarded in Europe and was linked with a possible move to Arsenal earlier this summer.

Leicester have been tracking the 22-year-old for some time and they have decided to firm up their interest with an offer in the region of £22.5million which has been accepted by Freiburg.
Leicester officials have now travelled to Turkey to finalise talks with Soyuncu and the player is expected to undergo a medical out in Germany before becoming Leicester’s latest signing.
Soyuncu is set to be joined by Croatian defender Filip Benkovic before Thursday’s transfer deadline and they are expected to be Leicester’s final two signings bringing their total new faces at the King Power Stadium to seven this summer.
