HITC Sport understands Ipswich are poised to sign Accrington Stanley striker Kayden Jackson.

Accrington Stanley striker Kayden Jackson is having a medical at Ipswich Town ahead of a move to Portman Road, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.
Ipswich have been chasing Jackson for most of the summer as Town boss Paul Hurst looks to bolster his side’s attacking options.
Accrington have rejected several offers from Ipswich for Jackson this summer and the 24-year-old was forced to hand in a transfer request in a bid to force a move.
However, it seems Ipswich have finally got their man with the player holding talks and undergoing a medical on Wednesday.

Jackson was instrumental in Accrington’s surprise League Two title success last season, with 16 goals and 16 assists in his debut campaign at the club.
A number of clubs have made moves for Jackson, but Ipswich boss Hurst was determined to land him having worked with him while he was in charge of Grimsby Town.
Jackson will help fill the void of Martyn Waghorn at Ipswich following his move to Championship rivals Derby County earlier on Wednesday.
