HITC Sport understands Leeds midfielder set for Ipswich loan move.
Leeds United’s Toumani Diagouraga
Ipswich Town are poised to sign out of favour Leeds United midfielder Toumani Diagouraga on loan, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.
Diagouraga has found himself frozen out of the first-team at Leeds this season under Garry Monk.
The 29-year-old started for Leeds on the opening day of this season in the 3-0 defeat at QPR, but has not featured since under Monk and is unlikely to break into the side with the team riding high in the Championship.

A number of clubs have shown an interest in Diagouraga, but Ipswich are close to winning the race for the signature of the all-action midfielder.
Ipswich boss Mick McCarthy is thought to be an admirer of Diagouraga and he sees him as being a key addition to his plans at Portman Road.
Diagouraga joined Leeds from Brentford last January and he quickly established himself as a key man in Steve Evans’ side in the second half of last season, making 19 appearances and scoring three goals in all competitions.
Leeds are willing to loan out Diagouraga and Ipswich are poised to take the midfielder on loan until the end of the season.
