HITC Sport understands several clubs at home and abroad are tracking Sunderland youngster.

A number of clubs in England and Holland are tracking Sunderland midfielder George Honeyman, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.

Honeyman made his full Premier League debut in Saturday’s 2-0 defeat to West Bromwich after impressing in his full debut in the midweek FA Cup replay at Burnley.

Sunderland boss David Moyes admitted the 22-year-old’s performance ended up being the only positive to take away from the defeat at Turf Moor and again Honeyman was arguably Sunderland’s best performer against West Brom.
