Adam Smith in action for Bristol Rovers
A host of League One and League Two clubs are eyeing moves for Bristol Rovers goalkeeper Adam Smith on loan in the January transfer window.
Smith has found himself playing a back-up role to first-choice goalkeeper Jack Bonham at Bristol Rovers so far this season.
Former Middlesbrough and Leicester City keeper Smith has made four appearances in League One this term with another five appearances in the cup competitions.
Smith is keen to move on in the New Year in search of regular first-team action and Bristol Rovers are ready to sanction a loan move for the 26-year-old.

The news has alerted a number of clubs in League One and League Two who are all looking to strengthen their goalkeeping options when the transfer window reopens in January.
Smith has had a number of loan spells during his career with stints at Stevenage, Cambridge United and Mansfield Town during his time at Leicester and it looks like he will be going out on loan again this January.
Smith joined Bristol Rovers from Northampton Town in the summer of 2017 and he has gone on to make 35 appearances for the club to date.
