HITC Sport understands a number of clubs are eyeing Huddersfield Town striker Jordy Hiwula.
A host of Championship and League One clubs are weighing up moves for Huddersfield Town forward Jordy Hiwula.
Hiwula is well down the pecking order at Huddersfield and several sides are monitoring his situation as he is unlikely to figure in David Wagner’s plans next season.
Hiwula joined Huddersfield in the summer of 2015 from Manchester City but has made only one substitute appearance for the Terriers in 2015-16.
The 23-year-old has spent the majority of his three years at Huddersfield out on loan with spells at Wigan Athletic, Walsall, Bradford City and Fleetwood Town.
Hiwula has impressed during his stints out on loan scoring twice in 14 league appearances for Wigan, seven of them from the bench, as well as adding four more goals in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy before moving to Walsall where he scored three goals in 16 outings for the Saddlers.
In the 2016/17 season he scored 12 goals for Bradford City as they reached the League One play-off final and last season he netted 13 goals in 28 starts for Fleetwood.
A number of Championship and League One clubs have shown an interest in Hiwula this summer as they look to strengthen their attacking options ahead of next season.
