Hull City are in talks to sign Shrewsbury Town goalkeeper Callum Burton, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.
Burton is a product of the Shrewsbury Town academy and he has been earning comparisons with former Shrewsbury keeper Joe Hart.
Burton is regarded as one of the best young goalkeepers in the country having represented England at all youth levels all the way through to the under-19s and he was also on standby for the under-20s.
The athletic shot-stopper made his first-team debut for Shrewsbury in the final game of 2015/16 eason against Swindon and he was third-choice keeper behind Jayson Leutwiler and Mark Halstead last season.

Burton spent two spells out on loan at National League sides Nuneaton Town and AFC Telford last season as he went in search of valuable first-team football.
Shrewsbury have signed two new goalkeepers this summer in the shape of Dean Henderson and Craig MacGillivray to increase competition for places at the club and Burton could move on.
Hull are looking to bolster their goalkeeping options after selling Eldin Jakupovic to Leicester earlier this week and they are looking to bring Burton the KCOM Stadium.
Burton would compete for the number three spot at Hull with Allan McGregor and David Marshall set to battle it out for the No.1 shirt.
