Fulham face a fight to keep hold of young starlet Stephen Humphrys with a host of Premier League and Championship clubs tracking the striker, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.

Humphrys has been catching the eye for Fulham this season and is currently top goal-scorer in the under-23 league with eight goals in ten appearances.

The 19-year-old’s rich vein of form has alerted a number of clubs to Humphrys’ talents with scouts from Premier League and Championship sides keeping tabs on his progress.

Humphrys has been a prolific scorer for Fulham at Under-16, Under-18, and now PL2 level since his arrival from Bury in the summer of 2013.

Humphrys is highly regarded within the corridors of power at Fulham and he is currently on the fringes of Slavisa Jokanovic’s first-team at Craven Cottage.

Humphrys signed a professional contract with Fulham in 2014 and the forward’s suitors have been alerted to the fact that his contract in West London expires at the end of the season.

The teenager’s growing list of suitors are expected to watch Humphrys in action on Monday when Fulham take on West Ham United and the Cottagers are bracing themselves for a battle to keep hold of the teenager if he continues his rapid progress.
