HITC Sport understands Nottingham Forest star agrees to join rivals
Nottingham Forest’s Jorge Grant celebrates scoring his first goal
Nottingham Forest midfielder Jorge Grant is poised to join city rivals Notts County, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.
Grant caught the eye of Notts County’s new manager Kevin Nolan during a clash between Forest’s Under-23s and Notts County’s Under-23s
Grant was outstanding in the 3-0 win for Forest and Nolan used the game to ask Forest about taking the attacking midfielder on loan.
22-year-old Grant has found himself down the pecking order at Forest this season, making just six appearances in the first-team so far this campaign.

Forest are happy to loan Grant so that he can get valuable first-team action under his belt in the second of the season.
Grant, who came through the ranks Forest, made his debut in August 2014 and he scored on his first start, in Forest’s 3-1 loss to Tottenham in the League Cup.
New Notts County manager Nolan is keen to add to his attacking options before the close of the transfer as he looks to lift his side out of trouble at the wrong end of the League Two table and he sees Grant as a key addition to his plans.
