HITC Sport understands Chelsea youngster Charlie Wakefield is set to join Coventry.

Chelsea midfielder Charlie Wakefield is set to leave the club to join Coventry City, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.
Wakefield was due to be out of contract at Chelsea this summer, but the two parties have agreed to cancel it early so that he can move on to a new club.
The 20-year-old, who joined Chelsea from Brighton at the age of 12, was a regular for the club’s youth sides, but failed to break into the first-team at Stamford Bridge.
Wakefield, who can play in defence or midfield, won the FA Youth Cup and UEFA Youth League twice for Chelsea.

Wakefield had a spell out on loan at Stevenage last season, but now he is set to move away from Stamford Bridge on a permanent basis.
Former England youth international Wakefield is set to sign an 18-month deal with League One Coventry.
