Coventry City have rejected bids from two unnamed Championship clubs for defender Ryan Haynes, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.
Haynes, who made his debut way back in April 2013 as a 17-year-old, really came to the fore two seasons ago under former Sky Blues boss Steven Pressley with a number of eye-catching performances at full-back.
The 21-year-old made 31 appearances in all competitions in the 2014/15 and his form brought him to the attention of several Premier League clubs.

Haynes struggled to nail down a regular spot in the starting XI under Tony Mowbray last season, making just 11 appearances before joining League Two side Cambridge United on loan for the second half of last season.
The attacking full-back has won his place back in the Coventry side in recent weeks following the appointment of Russell Slade and he has made 12 appearances in all competitions and scored four goals.
Forest to sign Wolves midfielder
Haynes’ performances in recent weeks have brought him to the attention of several clubs higher up the football ladder and a couple of suitors have put bids in for the defender which have been rejected by Coventry.
Coventry are reluctant to lose Haynes as they battle to avoid relegation from League One, but due to their financial problems they would find it hard to resist a sizeable offer for the defender before the close of the transfer window on Tuesday.
