Shrewsbury Town midfielder Gary Deegan is available on a free transfer, alerting a host of clubs to his availability, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.
Deegan joined Shrewsbury from Southend last summer on a two-year deal, but the club have agreed to let him leave a year early so that he can find a new club.
The 29-year-old was a virtual ever-present for Shrewsbury in League One this season, making 48 appearances in all competitions.
Deegan played a key role in helping Shrewsbury avoid relegation from League One this season with the experienced midfielder proving a vital member of the side in the closing weeks of the campaign.

Shrewsbury have agreed to grant Deegan a free transfer this summer despite having another year to run on his contract and the news has alerted a number of League One and League Two clubs to his availability on a free transfer.
The defensive midfielder first moved to in 2009 when he joined Coventry City from Irish outfit Bohemians.
Deegan spent three years at Coventry before spells at Hibernian, Northampton, Southend and Shrewsbury.
