Josh Morris celebrates scoring for Scunthorpe United
Championship trio Ipswich Town, Bristol City and Rotherham United are weighing up moves for Scunthorpe United ace Josh Morris, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.
Morris has been a revelation this season for Scunthorpe, scoring 18 goals in all competitions and chipping in with 11 assists to make him one of the hottest properties in the Football League.
His exploits for Scunthorpe have also seen him land the League One player of the month award in both August and September.
The 25-year-old is the second highest goalscorer in League One despite being a winger and his stellar displays for Scunthorpe this term have unsurprisingly brought him to the attention to clubs higher up the football ladder.

Bristol City are in the market for a new left-sided winger in case Queens Park Rangers target Luke Freeman leaves Ashton Gate and Morris is thought to figure highly on their wanted list.
Ipswich boss Mick McCarthy is keen to add to his attacking options and is a big fan of Morris, while basement boys Rotherham are desperate to add to their squad to try and improve their fortunes.
Scunthope are now bracing themselves for interest from Morris’ suitors before the transfer window closes and they could face a battle to keep hold of the former Blackburn Rovers man.
