HITC Sport understands a number of clubs are eyeing moves for Rochdale winger.

Rochdale wide man Nathaniel Mendez-Laing is a target for a number of Championship and League One sides in the January transfer window, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.
Mendez-Laing has impressed for Rochdale so far this season, scoring four goals and chipping in with two assists in 25 appearances for the League One side.
The 23-year-old has also played a key role in helping Rochdale climb into fifth spot in League One as they look to mount a bid for promotion this term.

Mendez-Laing is entering the final six months of his contract at Spotland and the news has alerted a number of clubs to the winger’s possible availability for a cut-price fee in January.
Championship duo Wigan Athletic and Rotherham United and League One trio Bolton Wanderers, Charlton Athletic and Millwall are all monitoring Mendez-Laing’s situation and could move for the former Wolverhampton Wanderers youngster in January.
Rochdale are prepared to keep hold of Mendez-Laing and risk allowing him to run down his contract at the end of the season, but the winger’s suitors hope they may be able to tempt them to cash in on the attacker in the New Year.
