Former Ipswich Town defender Jonathan Parr is a target for a number of clubs during this month’s transfer window, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.

Burton are one of a number of English clubs keeping tabs on the full-back and are weighing up a move to bring him back to the Championship, while Greek side AEK Athens are also tracking Parr.

Sources close to Parr have told HITC Sport that the 28-year-old would be interested in a move back to England this month.

Parr first moved to England in 2011 with Crystal Palace from Aalesunds FK and he quickly made an impact at Selhurst Park winning the club’s Player of the Year award in 2012,

The left-back spent three seasons at Palace before joining Ipswich Town in the summer of 2014 and he helped the club reach the play-offs in his first season at Portman Road.
