Burnley have made a bid for Hull City defender Andrew Robertson, sources close to the club have told HITC Sport.
Burnley have held a long-term interest in the Scotland international and weighed up a move for the full-back during the January transfer window.
Hull are facing a battle to keep hold of Robertson following their relegation to the Championship with the player keen to remain in the Premier League.

Burnley boss Sean Dyche is keen to bring in a new left-back during this summer’s transfer window and he has made Robertson his number one target.
Robertson made 40 appearances for Hull last season and impressed despite the club’s relegation from the Premier League.
The 23-year-old, who joined Hull from Dundee United in 2014, is now an established member of Gordon Strachan’s Scotland side and he impressed in last weekend’s World Cup qualifying draw with England.

Liverpool have been credited with an interest in Robertson, but HITC Sport understands Burnley are in pole position to land the left-back.
Burnley remain in talks with Hull and they are hoping to agree a fee with the Tigers to enable them to hold talks with Robertson over a potential move to Turf Moor.
