HITC Sport understands Huddersfield defender Holmes-Dennis is being chased by Bristol Rovers.

Bristol Rovers are lining up a move for Huddersfield Town defender Tareiq Holmes-Dennis, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.
Holmes-Dennis is well down the pecking order in David Wagner’s plans at the John Smith’s Stadium and the club are open to offers for the full-back.
The 22-year-old joined Portsmouth on a season-long deal last summer, but the move was cut short after Holmes-Dennis picked up a serious knee injury in his first game for the League One club.
Holmes-Dennis was forced to return to Huddersfield for rehabilitation on the injury and he is now back to full fitness.
A number of Football League clubs have expressed an interest in Holmes-Dennis this summer, but Bristol Rovers are leading the race for the former England Under-18 international.

Rovers manager Darrell Clarke is keen to strengthen his squad this summer as he looks to build a side capable of challenging for promotion next season and he sees Holmes-Dennis as a key addition to his squad.
Holmes-Dennis joined Huddersfield from Charlton in 2016, but struggled to hold down a regular spot in the side making just 15 appearances for the Terriers.
