Brighton & Hove Albion are lining up a move for Panathanaikos winger Mubarak Wakaso, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.
Seagulls boss Chris Hughton is looking to strengthen his attacking options as he prepares for life in the Premier League and Wakaso has emerged on his radar.
Brighton have so far only brought in four new faces this summer and Hughton is keen to bolster his squad with some fresh faces before the season kicks off in August.

Wakaso is unsettled at Greek club Panathinaikos after joining the club last summer from Rubin Kazan.
The 26-year-old left Panathinaikos on loan for Granada last January after just six months at the Greek club.
Wakaso impressed at Granada scoring one goal in 11 appearances, but he could not help them avoid relegation from La Liga.
Wakaso is now back at Panathinaikos, but he is keen to secure a move away from the club this summer.
A number of clubs in Spain and elsewhere in Europe have shown an interest in Wakaso, but now Brighton are ready to offer him the chance to move to the Premier League.
Wakaso has had a spell in the UK before after a loan stint with Celtic during the 2014/15 season, but he only made five appearances during his time in Scotland.
