HITC Sport understands West Bromwich Albion see bid for Championship defender rejected.

West Bromwich Albion have seen an £8million bid for Brighton & Hove Albion defender Lewis Dunk rejected, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.
Dunk, who has come through the ranks at Brighton, is regarded as one of the best young defenders outside the Premier League after catching the eye at the Amex Stadium.
Dunk has established himself as an instrumental figure at Brighton and captained them last season as they missed out on automatic promotion to the Premier League on goal difference.

A host of Premier League and Championship clubs are thought to be interested in Dunk and Crystal Palace saw a bid for the player turned down earlier this summer.
West Bromwich Albion manager Tony Pulis
West Brom have now entered the race for Dunk as manager Tony Pulis looks to bolster his side’s central defensive options for next season.
The Baggies are understood to have tabled an £8million bid for the player, but Brighton have rejected the offer for the 24-year-old.
Brighton are keen to keep hold of one of their prized assets as Seagulls boss Chris Hughton aims to try to build his side around the defender, but it remains to be seen if West Brom come back with an improved offer for Dunk.
