HITC Sport understands Bradford have bid rejected for League Two star.

Bradford City have had a bid rejected for highly-rated Grimsby Town forward Siriki Dembele, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.
Dembele handed in a transfer request at Blundell Park earlier this month, amid interest from clubs higher up the football pyramid.
Bradford have tried to steal a march on their rivals in the pursuit of Dembele by firming up their interest with an offer, which has been rejected by Grimsby.
The Bantams are pushing ahead with new recruits despite the club still not having a new manager in place and Dembele is among their top targets.

Siriki, who is the older brother of Celtic wonderkid Karamoko Dembele is regarded as one of the most promising attacking talents in the Football League after a successful debut season with Grimsby.

The 21-year-old joined Grimsby from the Nike Academy last summer and went on to score four goals in 39 appearances for the Mariners last season.
Dembele was rewarded for his fine form by winning the EFL’s Young Player of the Month award for October last year and his performances have brought him to the attention of a number of clubs.
