HITC Sport understands Bournemouth striker Sam Surridge is poised to join Oldham on loan.

Oldham Athletic are set to sign highly-rated Bournemouth striker Sam Surridge on loan, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.
A number of Football League clubs have been chasing Surridge this summer following a successful spell on loan at Yeovil Town last season.
Surridge made 53 appearances in all competitions for Yeovil last season, scoring 10 goals and providing six assists as the club secured survival in League Two.
Surridge, who has come through the ranks at Bournemouth, has also had spells out on loan at Weymouth and Poole Town before his stint at Yeovil.
Although Surridge has has yet to make his first-team debut for Bournemouth he is highly-regarded by Cherries manager Eddie Howe and his coaching team.

The 20-year-old is on the fringes of Eddie Howe’s first-team on the South Coast and, with his first-team chances set to be limited next season, the club are willing to send him out on loan again to continue his development.
Oldham have been keeping tabs on Surridge’s situation all summer, with Latics boss Frankie Bunn determined to bring him to Boundary Park.
Bunn is looking to build a squad capable of challenging for promotion back to League One next season and he sees Surridge as a key addition to his plans.
