Bournemouth are in advanced talks to sign Leganes left-back Diego Rico, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.
Rico has impressed at Leganes since joining from Real Zaragoza in 2016 and his performances have not gone unnoticed elsewhere.
The 25-year-old has been a consistent performer for Leganes, making 51 La Liga appearances for the club, and scouts from across Europe have been keeping tabs on Rico.

Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe has made a new left-back one of his top priorities this summer and he has switched his attentions to Rico after being priced out of a move for Celtic defender Kieran Tierney.
Rico has a €20m release clause in his contract at Leganes, but Bournemouth are hoping to land the defender for a smaller fee.

Bournemouth are optimistic of striking a deal with Leganes for Rico, with the player understood to be interested in a move to the Premier League.
Bournemouth have so far made only one new signing this summer in the shape of David Brooks from Sheffield United, and Howe is keen to bring in Rico to further strengthen his squad ahead of the start of the new Premier League season.
