HITC Sport understands Bournemouth are poised to sign League Two defender.

Bournemouth are closing in on the signing of highly-rated Stevenage youngster Ali Omar, HITC Sport understands.
Omar is currently training with Bournemouth ahead of a possible move to the Vitality Stadium.
The 18-year-old was spotted by Bournemouth’s scouts after impressing for Stevenage’s Under-18s side during the last 18 months.
Omar has yet to make his first-team debut for Stevenage, but he has caught the eye in the FA Youth Cup in the last two seasons when Stevenage have come up against sides from higher up on the football pyramid.

Stevenage have established a reputation of bringing through young players who go on and play at the highest level and Omar is the latest one to come off the club’s production line.
A number of Premier League and Championship clubs have been monitoring talented left-back Omar, but Bournemouth have moved quickly to steal a march in the race for his signature.
Omar is spending a few days training with Bournemouth so that the club’s coaching staff can have a look at him at close quarters and they are expected to sign him on a permanent basis.
