HITC Sport understands Sheffield United are set to sign long-term target Holmes in next 24 hours.

Sheffield United have agreed a deal for Charlton winger Ricky Holmes, HITC Sport understands.
United have held a long-term interest in skilful attacker Holmes and saw several bids for the player rejected by Charlton last summer.
Blades boss Chris Wilder is a big fan of Holmes having worked with the player during his time in charge of Northampton Town.
Wilder is looking to add to his attacking options in this month’s transfer window after seeing his side suffer a slump in form and he sees Holmes as someone who can help get their promotion bid back on track.

Holmes has scored six goals for Charlton this season and the League One club were keen for him to stay at the Valley.
However, United have tempted them into selling Holmes for a fee in the region of £400,000 and the player is expected to sign a two-and-a-half year deal at Bramall Lane.
Holmes is set to become United’s fourth signing of the transfer window following the arrivals of Ryan Leonard, Lee Evans and James Wilson on loan from Manchester United.
