HITC Sport understands Blackburn have bid for League One rivals’ defender.

Blackburn Rovers have made a bid for Fleetwood Town left-back Amari’i Bell, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.
Bell’s future at Fleetwood has been the subject of conjecture for some time with the player in the final year of his contract and unlikely to agree fresh terms at Highbury.
The 23-year-old has made over 100 appearances for Fleetwood since joining them on a free transfer from Birmingham City in the summer of 2015.
The pacy defender is regarded as one of the best full-backs in the Football League and a number of Premier League and Championship clubs have been credited with an interest in his services.

Cardiff City saw a bid rejected for Bell last summer as Fleetwood managed to keep hold of him, but they now face another battle to hang onto him in the January transfer window.
Promotion-chasing Blackburn have targeted a move for Bell as Rovers boss Tony Mowbray wants to strengthen his defensive options for the second half of the season and he sees Bell as a key addition to his plans at Ewood Park.
Blackburn have firmed up their interest with a bid of £200,000 and they are waiting to see if Fleetwood will decide to cash-in on him with a number of other clubs also monitoring the defender’s situation.
