Birmingham City have agreed a deal to sign Burnley striker Lukas Jutkiewicz, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.
Jutkiewicz has just recently returned to fitness after suffering a cruciate knee ligament injury last August against Bristol City.

The 27-year-old returned to fitness at the end of last season and he has made two brief cameo appearances off the bench in the Premier League this season as well as a start in the EFL Cup game against Accrington.

Ipswich Town have also been credited with an interest in Jutkiewicz, but Championship rivals Birmingham have moved quickly to agree a deal to sign the former Everton youngster on a season-long loan deal.
Birmingham boss Gary Rowett has been looking to bolster his attacking options before the close of the transfer window and he sees Jutkiewicz as being a valuable addition to his plans this season at St Andrew’s.
Burnley are happy to loan out Jutkiewicz as he is currently down the pecking order in Sean Dyche’s plans and they feel a loan spell will aid his return to full fitness.
