Aberdeen midfielder Peter Pawlett has signed a pre-contract agreement to join MK Dons in the summer, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.
Aberdeen boss Derek McInnes confirmed earlier this week that Pawlett was set to leave Aberdeen to make the move to England after turning down a new contract at Pittodrie.
The 26-year-old’s current deal at Aberdeen expires at the end of the season and he has been free to discuss a move to other clubs from January.
A number of clubs in England, including Queens Park Rangers, Burton Albion and Bolton Wanderers have shown an interest in Pawlett, but MK Dons have moved quickly to agree a deal for the winger.
Sources have told HITC Sport that Pawlett has signed a two-year deal to join the League One club this summer.

MK Dons boss Robbie Neilson is a big admirer of the attacking midfielder having come up against him while manager of Hearts and he sees Pawlett as a key addition to his plans going forward at MK Dons.
Pawlett, who made his Aberdeen debut in 2009, has made over 200 appearances for the Dons and scored 20 goals in the process.
