As announced on Leeds’s official website, Jansson has joined Brentford from the Whites in the summer transfer window.
The Sweden international’s wife, Asa Thornell, has stated on Twitter that the 28-year-old central defender has enjoyed his time at Leeds, and has praised the Elland Road faithful.

Jansson is one of the best defenders in the Championship, and the Sweden international will be a big miss for Leeds.
The Sweden international is at the peak of his powers at the age of 28, and the Whites’ loss is Brentford’s gain.
With the former Torino defender in their team, Brentford will fancy their chances of challenging for the top six of the Championship next season.
As for Leeds, the West Yorkshire outfit need to find a suitable replacement for Jansson in their quest to finish in the top two of the Championship table.
