Pontus Jansson is returning to Leeds United tonight.

Pontus Jansson is set for an emotional return to Leeds United tonight.
The Sweden international is coming back to Elland Road as an opposition player for the first time after his £5.5 million switch to Brentford in the summer.
Jansson was a hugely popular player among Leeds fans during his three-year spell in West Yorkshire, but it remains to be seen whether he receives a positive reception or not.
United boss Marcelo Bielsa said on Tuesday that Jansson was the team’s best player last season and hopes that his former centre-back is received warmly by the Elland Road faithful.
And here’s how his brother Peter responded to that sentiment on Twitter.
Jansson’s departure was relatively sudden in the sense that it seemed to happen within days of the speculation coming out.
According to The Mirror, Bielsa is the one who decided to move ahead without the 28-year-old, who disobeyed a direct order from the Argentine to let Aston Villa score an uncontested equaliser back in April.
The player himself was a Leeds man from day one it seems and he certainly played like it more times than not, so being booed by the fans who adored him would seriously hurt Jansson.
