Pontus Jansson is one of the best players at Leeds United.
The Sweden international centre-back picked up as many as 15 yellow cards last season and was suspended for some important games.
The 26-year-old knows that he got far too many yellow cards during the 2016-17 campaign and wants to rectify that this season.
Jansson has said that he plans to get fewer than 10 yellow cards, admitting that it is going to be tough to keep it under five.

“I said to myself, under ten,” Jansson told The Yorkshire Evening Post. “I said first under five but that’s going to be tough.
“Some types of free-kicks and tactical I am going to have to have one of course but I have to be a bit more clever this year and not give away silly yellow cards. I have started good, two games…it’s been a challenge! But it’s a good start.”

The way Jansson plays and the passion he shows on the pitch, especially after scoring goals, is brilliant to watch, but the Leeds star does need to be more clever and control himself.
The Whites need to have their best players available throughout the season in order to finish in the top six of the Championship, and the Swede has to be smart.
Leeds fans should be pleased that Jansson has said that he wants to limit the number of yellow cards he gets.
