Pontus Jansson left Leeds United to join Brentford in one of the shock transfers of the summer.

Bielsa demands his players are intense in training, and have extremely high fitness levels.
And although Jansson only worked with Bielsa for a year at Leeds, he felt that the Argentine really improved his game.
“To work with Bielsa for one year gave me a lot of headaches also because of long days, a lot of meetings and a lot of things to take in,” Jansson said.
“But it helped me so much, not only as a player, but also as a person how to be a professional footballer, how to eat, how to behave, how to sleep, all those things to recover well.”
Bielsa ultimately sold Jansson to Brentford, in what was one of the shock transfers of the summer.
The Swede had been a key player for Leeds during his time at Elland Road, but his departure was swift with the Bees snapping him up.

Leeds arguably haven’t missed Jansson too badly, as Ben White has come in on loan from Brighton & Hove Albion and proved an excellent replacement.
Jansson has gone on to perform a key role at Brentford, who are hoping to challenge for promotion this term.
The Bees are currently in 13th place in the Championship table, seven points behind Leeds.
