Leeds United defender Pontus Jansson seems to rate Newcastle United striker Dwight Gayle highly.

Dwight Gayle may be struggling with injury issues at the moment, but there is no doubt that the Newcastle United star is one of the best strikers in the Championship.
Gayle joined Newcastle from Premier League club Crystal Palace in the summer of 2016 for a transfer fee reported by The Daily Mail to be worth £10 million.
The 27-year-old striker has been a massive hit at the Magpies and has been scoring goals for fun.
The former Peterborough United star has scored 20 goals and created 19 chances in 24 Championship appearances for Newcastle so far this season.
Gayle’s performances have impressed Leeds United defender Pontus Jansson, who has suggested that the Newcastle man is one of the best strikers he has come up against in the Championship this campaign.
“I have to say someone who’s scored against us, so Gayle from Newcastle,” Inside Futbol quotes Jansson as saying regarding the best striker he has faced in the Championship this season.
“He was not that good in the game, but he scored two goals, so you have to say he is a good player. I’m not sure if he is the best one, but he is a good player.”
Newcastle are second in the Championship table at the moment with 70 points from 33 matches, just a point behind leaders Brighton & Hove Albion.
Meanwhile, Leeds currently find themselves fourth in the standings with 61 points from 34 games and should be able to end up in the playoffs.
