Leeds United central defender Pontus Jansson has taken to Twitter to send a message to the fans following the win against Bolton Wanderers.
The West Yorkshire outfit got the better of Bolton 1-0 away from home at the University of Bolton Stadium in the Championship on Saturday afternoon.
The win came amid the uncertainty over the future of Samuel Saiz, who is one of the best players in the Leeds squad.
According to a recent report in The Yorkshire Post, Getafe want to sign Saiz – who can operate as an attacking midfielder or as a forward – on loan from the Whites in the January transfer window with a view to a permanent move next summer.
Leeds head coach Marcelo Bielsa himself has said that the Spaniard has been given permission to speak to Getafe, as quoted in Leeds Live.
Amid the uncertainty over the future of Saiz – who moved to Leeds from Huesca in the summer of 2017 for a transfer fee reported by The Yorkshire Evening Post to be worth £3 million – Jansson, 27, has sent a strong message to the Elland Road faithful.
