The Leeds United defender has been recognised for his efforts in December.
Leeds United centre-back Pontus Jansson has taken to Twitter to celebrate winning the PFA Fans’ Championship Player of the Month for December.
The Swedish defender has been nothing short of sensational since arriving at Elland Road on loan from Torino, and once he makes 22 appearances for the club he is expected to complete a permanent move to the Whites.
Leeds fans will be desperate for that to happen sooner rather than later, with Jansson quickly taken to their hearts after a string of great performances.

“Thanks for all (the) support,” Jansson wrote on social media on Thursday afternoon. “Proud moment for me.”
Jansson has featured 20 times for Leeds to date, forming a brilliant defensive partnership with fellow loanee Kyle Bartley.
Both are expected to complete permanent moves to Elland Road in due course and Leeds will be hoping they can offer them Premier League football next season after an impressive surge up the table.
Next up for Leeds is a third round FA Cup clash with Cambridge United on Monday evening and Jansson will be hoping for his first experience of the famous competition.
