Leeds United are reportedly interested in Swansea City’s Daniel James.
Leeds United defender Pontus Jansson has responded to the club’s official announcement on youngsters Tom Pearce and Sam Dalby’s immediate future.
The Championship club have announced on their official website that defender Pearce has joined Scunthorpe United in League One on loan on January transfer deadline day until the end of the season.
Meanwhile, striker Dalby has moved to League Two side Morecambe on loan for the rest of the season.
Leeds defender Jansson – who joined the Whites on a season-long loan deal from Torino in the summer of 2016 and made the move permanent in the summer of 2017 for a fee reported by The Yorkshire Evening Post to be worth £3.5 million – has responded to the club’s announcement on the duo and has asked if there will be any more news on transfers.
Daniel James move imminent?
The signing of Daniel James could be the next announcement that Leeds make this evening.
According to BBC Sport, Leeds are close to signing the 21-year-old on loan from Championship rivals Swansea.
It has been reported that the Whites will pay the Swans a loan fee of £2 million for the Wales international, who can operate as a winger or as an attacking midfielder.
