Pontus Jansson suggested that one video from Sunday’s game summed up the change at Leeds United this season.

Pontus Jansson took to Twitter to react to a video that was posted following Leeds’ win over Wigan on Sunday, with the Swede suggesting the clip completely sums up the change that has taken place at Elland Road under Marcelo Bielsa.
The Whites moved back to the top of the Championship as they came from behind to beat the Latics 2-1 at the DW Stadium. It was an excellent performance after some mixed form for Bielsa’s men.
After scoring what proved to be the winner during the opening seconds of the second-half, Leeds had to show that they could see the game out. And one moment in particular summed up how well the visitors did to hold onto the three points.
Wigan rarely threatened to find an equaliser, and that is largely down to the incredible amount of defending Leeds did as a team. In the incident that Jansson was referring to, seven Whites players chased the one Wigan player down and won the ball back once he was surrounded.

In fact, the next player to appear in the screen was also a Leeds player. It was a remarkable moment that highlighted just how hard the league leaders are working.
And Jansson suggested that it was indicative of the team unity that exists at Elland Road right now, while he also lauded the atmosphere that the travelling fans created on a hugely impressive day for Leeds.

Here is Jansson’s response to the video…
