Leeds United’s winning run in the Championship came to an end as they were beaten 2-0 at Elland Road.

Pontus Jansson has taken to Twitter to react to Leeds’ defeat against Hull and comment on making his 100th appearance for the Whites in Saturday’s game at Elland Road.
Marcelo Bielsa’s side saw their seven-game winning run brought to an abrupt end as the Tigers clinched a 2-0 victory in a game where the Whites struggled to push through the gears.
Leeds rarely looked like producing the comeback that saw them beat Aston Villa and Blackburn Rovers in incredible circumstances in their previous two games. But they do remain three points clear at the top of the Championship.
The game was also notable as it saw Jansson bring up his century of appearances for the club. The centre-back has long been considered a cult-hero at Elland Road, but his recent form has been sensational.

He had been a colossus during the winning run, particularly in the last two games, but he could not quite manage to reproduce that level of performance against Nigel Adkins’ men.
Jansson took to social media after the game to comment on reaching three figures. He admitted that Hull deserved their victory and sent a message to his teammates and to the supporters regarding his future.
