Leeds United stars express delight with win.
Leeds United ace Pontus Jansson returned to the team for the clash with Nottingham Forest, and their defence suddenly looked impenetrable again.
The Whites were solid as they recorded a 2-0 win, admittedly against a Forest side offering little in terms of goal threat.
Pontus Jansson of Leeds United celebrates after the game
Jansson was outstanding as ever, and commented after the game to show his satisfaction at the win.
There was no comment on his future however, despite the fact it was his 22nd game for the club, and Leeds can now activate a clause to buy him permanently.
Chris Wood netted his 20th goal of the season in the win, while Souleymane Doukara scored a screamer from the edge of the area with his first touch after coming on as a substitute.
Jansson’s Leeds teammates Hadi Sacko and Liam Cooper also commented after the game, hailing Doukara’s impact.
