Leeds United players have taken to Twitter over the last 24 hours to react to their superb 3-2 away win at Norwich City.

The Whites had fallen behind at Carrow Road when Robbie Brady’s flicked header looped over Robert Green and into the net, but Pontus Jansson struck after half time with a fine header.

Chris Wood then put Leeds in front by smashing home Luke Ayling’s cut back, and after Kyle Lafferty grabbed a late 88th minute equaliser, Leeds hit back to win the game as Ronaldo Vieira’s long-range effort zipped past Canaries goalkeeper Michael McGovern to hand Garry Monk’s men all three points.

Monk is earning rave reviews for his work at Elland Road, as he now has the club up into sixth place in the Championship table, currently occupying the last of the four play-off places as they seek an overdue return to the Premier League.

After the final whistle at Carrow Road, Leeds players took to Twitter to send messages to fans, as Ayling, Marcus Antonsson and Eunan O’Kane all celebrated the victory by hailing the performance and the travelling fans.

Matchwinner Vieira admitted he was proud to play for Leeds and called their performance ‘unbelievable’, whilst he received messages of support from team-mates Kalvin Phillips, Liam Cooper, Lewie Coyle and Tyler Denton after his dramatic winner.
