The 25-year-old defender, who has yet to make his debut in the league for the Whites, has admitted that he was not physically ready when he moved to the West Yorkshire outfit.
The Sweden international centre-back, though, has made it clear that he is ready to feature for Leeds this weekend.
Leeds will take on Huddersfield Town at Elland Road in the Championship on Saturday afternoon.
“The problem (when he first joined Leeds) is that I was not physically ready,” Jansson told The Yorkshire Evening Post.
“I had a messy pre-season with injuries but I had the match in the League Cup and it felt good. Now I’ll play, no question about it.”
Jansson has arrived at Leeds with a strong reputation, and he should establish himself in Garry Monk’s starting lineup soon.
The former Malmo FF defender scored one goal and created two chances in seven Serie A appearances for Torino during the 2015-16 campaign, according to Squawka.
The centre-back had a pass accuracy of 94% and a shot accuracy of 60%, and won six headers, four dribbles and four tackles, according to Squawka.
Jansson did not have a great time at Torino, but the Sweden international could become a huge success at Leeds.
