Pontus Jansson made his loan deal from Torino to Leeds United permanent in the summer transfer window.

Jansson joined the Whites on a season-long loan deal from Torino in the summer of 2016 and made the move permanent in the summer of 2017.
Championship club Leeds had to pay Italian outfit Torino a transfer fee of £3.5 million in order secure the services of the Sweden international centre-back, as reported by The Yorkshire Evening Post.
The 26-year-old centre-back, who is very popular among the Leeds fans, has pointed out the difference in the supporters from when he came and now.

“There has been a huge difference since I came here,” Jansson told The Yorkshire Evening Post. “When I came here there was only 13,000 in the stands.
“Leeds have had ten or 15 bad years but we are on our way back to something good. Let the other teams hate us.”

Leeds are one of the biggest clubs in England and are getting over 30,000 fans for their home matches in the Championship at the moment.
Despite the Whites’ recent disappointing results and performances, optimism among the Elland Road faithful is high.
It is going to be hard for Thomas Christiansen’s side to finish in the top two of the Championship this season, but they can certainly clinch a playoff spot.
