One of the key reasons behind the Whites’ upturn in form has been the brilliant performances of Pontus Jansson, who joined them on a season-long loan deal from Torino on a season-long loan deal in the summer transfer window.
The 25-year-old defender has formed a brilliant and effective partnership with fellow summer signing Kyle Bartley at centre-back and has been important in the Whites being strong defensively.
