Leeds continued their excellent form in the Championship with a dramatic win over Norwich City.
Pontus Jansson has heaped praise on Leeds United pair Ronaldo Vieira and Kalvin Phillips after the trio helped Garry Monk’s men secure a dramatic win over Norwich City at Carrow Road, BBC Radio Leeds reports.
The Whites went into the game having not lost any of their last four games in all competitions. But, despite that, and the fact that one of those results had come against the Canaries in the EFL Cup, Leeds arguably went into the clash as underdogs with Norwich still flying high in the Championship despite a recent blip.

However, it was Leeds that took the three points as goals from Jansson, Chris Wood and a stoppage-time stunner from Vieira led them to a 3-2 victory that elevated them into the play-off spots going into the international break.
And speaking after the win, Jansson hailed the impact that the young midfield pair have made this season.

“I’m so happy for that guy,” he told BBC Radio Leeds when speaking about Vieira.
“He’s young and is a really good player, and Kalvin’s really good, too. [They are] Young midfielders that I believe in. They’re really good, I’m so happy for them.”
While Vieira’s emergence is hugely impressive, it is perhaps fair to say that Phillips has been one of the surprises of the season.

The 20-year-old made his debut in April 2015. But having made 12 appearances in all competitions before this campaign, it appeared that he may have needed a move away to fully realise his potential.
However, he has already played 18 times this term, and perhaps the biggest compliment that can be paid to him is that, when Liam Bridcutt returns from injury, the Leeds skipper may struggle to force his way back into the starting line-up.
