Leeds United defender Pontus Jansson was thrilled as the Whites earned a 1-0 win away to Hull City.
Leeds snapped a two game winless run with the victory and Jansson was terrific as he helped keep a clean sheet.
After the game Jansson got emotional, dedicating the victory to his wife.
Jansson is due to become a dad in the coming weeks and posted a passionate message after the win.
Focusing on the win, Jansson added he is determined to take Leeds into the Premier League, where they belong.
He posted to his public Instagram profile: “The win today is for you my love. In the coming days our first baby is arriving and i just want you to know how proud I am over you and how you handled the last months without me. I’m always giving 100% in everything I’m doing but but you are an example of a person who gives even more than that.
“So thanks for everything and you know that my biggest dream right now is that our daughter can see us take my club back where it belongs.
“I love you baby thanks for being you! ❤️❤️”
A few fans were worried about Jansson’s performances at the end of last season after they slipped below the high standards he set in 2016/17.
This season he has been in inspired form and it really does look like he is giving it 100 per cent effort.
His performances are at a high standard, with Leeds currently sitting in first position in the Championship table.
A huge few months lies ahead for Jansson personally and professionally.
