Leeds United are taking on Reading in the Championship at the moment.

Leeds manager Garry Monk talks to Pontus Jansson

Leeds United defender Pontus Jansson has taken to social networking site Twitter to explain his absence against Reading.

Jansson is not in the matchday squad for the ongoing Championship match between Reading and Leeds at the Madejski Stadium.

The 26-year-old centre-back has revealed that he has a problem with his hamstring due to which he is unable to play this evening.

Jansson is one of the best players at Leeds and has been superb for the Whites so far this season.

The Sweden international is a brilliant centre-back, and the Leeds fans will hope that he recovers soon.

Leeds are losing at the moment. It is half time at the Madejski Stadium, and Reading have a 1-0 lead.

There is still time for the Whites to launch a successful comeback and pick up all three points from the encounter.

Both Leeds and Reading are aiming to finish in the top six of the Championship this season and qualify for the playoffs.
