Leeds United host Newcastle United at a sold-out Elland Road on November 20.
Leeds United defender Pontus Jansson has told BBC Radio Leeds that his friends and family are flying over for the “fantastic” clash with Newcastle United on Sunday week.
The Swedish centre-back has been a revelation at Leeds since joining on a season-long loan from Torino in the summer.
The 25-year-old has also proved hugely popular with United fans for his passionate gestures, having being booked in Saturday’s win at Norwich for celebrating his first goal for the club with the supporters, and no-nonsense style of defending.

He has undoubtedly played a big role in the Whites’ excellent Championship form, with Garry Monk’s side – who won one of their first six league games – now sixth in the table.
But the visit of high-flying Championship leaders Newcastle looms large on November 20 in what might well be Leeds’ biggest and toughest test of the season.
By virtue of the fact that Elland Road will be sold out for the first time in six years when the Magpies come to town, it could be argued that there is a genuine buzz for the game.

And such excitement has clearly spilled over into the players as Jansson revealed to BBC Radio Leeds that he will have plenty of personal support on the day.
“It’s going to be fantastic, my family and friends are coming over”, the Sweden international said when asked about the upcoming Newcastle game. “So, that’s going to be fantastic, but now I have to focus on the national team.”
